Hello, long time no blog!
Starting blogging again with a gorgeous recipe from Ottolenghi Simple by Yotam Ottolenghi. This was his 2018 new book, and a fabulous one it is too. Is it simple? Yes, it’s easy cooking, but the flavours are complex and satisfying. The phrase I kept seeing online was ‘Simple for Ottolenghi’ and that is spot on.
This dish is Yotam’s ode to the original recipe from The Silver Palate Cookbook of Chicken Marbella. A different spin with dates and date molasses which was very good.
